The essential changes in the economy, careers, and businesses today are powerful new, different skill demands. Now more than ever, it is not sufficient for a student to just be good at Math, Science or English. It is now needed for students to also be able to think analytically and creatively, communicate, collaborate, find good information quickly, and use technology excellently. These are today’s survival skills—not only for the livelihood success, but for personal and civic life as well,” Alam, a passionate educationist and a trained teacher from Singapore, said.
Hip Pakistan, though, the excellence of education being providing is well below worldwide standards. According to the 2016 United Nations International Education Monitoring Report, Pakistan is more than 50 years behind in its school education targets.”

Alma left on to declare how raising the quality of educators is crucial for the overall uplift of the education system in Pakistan.
“Research appearances that a child’s teacher can make a better difference to his or her learning success than most other school issues. However, there continue to be systemic fences that are deflation the delivery of worth teacher education. A 2014 study of government teacher education institutions reveals that most of these institutions are deficient in infrastructure, knowledge and human resources to sufficiently implement the new curriculum.”
Alam too argued the future objectives of her NGO rooted in setting the gold stock for teacher education and public schooling in Pakistan.

After their qualification, the GECE teachers will be placed in pre-selected government schools. ‘Durbeen’ will attain managerial regulator over these select government schools through subsequent public-private partnerships. The goal of these partnerships would be to improve the entire eco-system of these teachers- from infrastructure, school leadership, administration, resources, teaching community etc.- to protection that they perform at their supreme potential and radically improve student performance in government schools.”
At the emotion of the project also lies the modernization of B.Ed. course in the country as Alam accept as true it is relevant to inculcate a modern education system for teachers.

To addressed the 21st century skilled condition in children, teacher training systems need to be efficient so we are able to grow teachers those can take this task onward. If we just expression at government of Sindh Schools – there are almost 4.2 million youngsters registered in the system. So that the government and Pakistan HEC has been moved towards the 4 year B.Ed (Hons)program, the state needs to ensure that the 750+ teacher trainers, accountable for developing future teachers in the system, are expert and up to date themselves. These capacity building opportunities have unfortunately not been made available yet on a larger scale,” she asserted.
Temporarily, its given Sindh Government’s monetary limits, ‘Durbeen’ also recently helped waive off Rs94 million financial assistance assured by the provincial government. The waiver is assumed by both ‘Durbeen’ and ‘Zindagi Trust’ with the help of secretive funding.
Intersection hands with Durbeen.pk to become a part of that one radical dream and help Pakistan learn.
