Applicants can check eligibly by visiting official website of bisp.gov.pk or send your 13-digit CNIC ID Card Number to 8171 and after confirmation we will receive message from 8171. Check also following steps to apply for bsip 8171

  • Send your CNIC number to 8171
  • If CNIC is valid you automatically move to the next step otherwise you will get a message stating “Your CNIC number is not eligible for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program.”
  • If the applicant is blocked due to sanity profiling, he will be notified via SMS otherwise will move forward to the next step.
  • If you or your spouse is a government employee you are not eligible for the Ehsas Emergency Cash Programme and will be notified via SMS otherwise you move on to the next step.
  • If the CNIC number is present in the NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry) DataBase and it is eligible for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program you will be notified via SMS accordingly and how to receive the cash grant.
  • If the CNIC is not present in the NSER (National Socio-Economic Registry) DataBase then you will be notified via SMS and told to contact your Regional Offices to apply for the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program.

How To Check BISP 8171 Balance?

If you owned BISP ATM card then you can check your BISP balance very easily. You have to visit at any Bank ATM and use your card then entering your code against CNIC you can see how much amount is available in your account. If you want to know the BISP balance amount from home then you can dial BISP Helpline No: 0800-26477 to confirm you balance money by talking the representative and soon you will receive the SMS of balance confirmation.
