Job Responsibilities of Prosecutor :
- Prosecute Gas Theft cases judiciously and expeditiously in Gas Utility Courts, high court and other courts, under Gas Theft Control Recovery Act – 2016 and related rules and instructions.
- Draft appeal(s) review / revision petition(s), reply para wise comments, written statements and also represent the Company in the constitution petition(s) filled by or against the Company before the competent court.
- Render legal professional advice and guidelines to the investigation officers and assist in preparation of cases.
- Keep the in-charge prosecution wing / law officer about the conduct of complainant and witnesses during the court proceedings.
- Prepare legal notices and recovery suites against Gas Theft Claim defaulters, and pursue these cases in the courts of law.
